Designed for lawyers with a minimum of two years’ experience representing the legal interests of children, including guardian ad litems, volunteer attorneys, prosecutors, public defenders, and attorneys representing parents or families in status offense, neglect, abuse, dependency, child custody, delinquency, and adoption cases.

  • Question for direct and cross-examination
  • Prepare and question child witnesses
  • Deal ethically with interdisciplinary issues that affect the child involved in litigation
  • Develop counseling and negotiation skills
