

Youth Law News, January-March 2011 NCYL has been working to significantly reform juvenile justice practices in Wyoming.
Youth Law News, April-June 2010 Advocates and other stakeholders have been working together to reduce Wyoming’s over-reliance on incarceration for juvenile offenders. As part of this effort, NCYL and the Wyoming chapter of the ACLU have issued a new report focusing on the widespread use of adult courts to prosecute children for minor offenses.
Youth Law News, January-March 2009 NCYL is also working with advocates, the government, and stakeholders in Wyoming to reform that state's juvenile justice system. Due to a confusing Juvenile Code, and the "system" that has evolved as a result, there is no unified juvenile court system in Wyoming, or any rational way to determine juvenile court jurisdiction over youth who are arrested.
