NCYL has met the terms of a challenge grant from the Sandler Foundation and received $250,000 from the Foundation!

The Sandler grant was dependent on NCYL raising $500,000 in new or increased gifts, meaning from people or organizations that had not previously given to NCYL, or from previous donors in amounts greater than they had ever given before. The minimum contribution to qualify was $5,000.

The $250,000 challenge grant is in addition to $250,000 NCYL received from the Sandler Foundation earlier in 2008.
