NCYL has long prided itself on helping to train and support the next generation of child advocates and public interest lawyers. Below is a list of NCYL alumni in California who work in the public interest.
Many of NCYL’s former law clerks go on to do fellowships at NCYL and/or are hired as full-time staff attorneys. Former Skadden Fellow Bryn Martyna and former NCYL Law Clerk and Equal Justice Works Fellow Fiza Quraishi are both now staff attorneys at NCYL. Summer 2007 law clerk Jesse Hahnel is a Skadden Fellow at NCYL.
