NCYL Senior Attorney Rebecca Gudeman, who heads up the Center’s Teen Health Rights Initiative, has contributed to two recent books/publications on health. “Protected: What You Need to Know About Your Rights and Healthcare,” recently released by Legal Services for Children in San Francisco, was based largely on publications Rebecca wrote for healthcare providers and which are available on NCYL’s Teen Health Rights website. She also reviewed several drafts of the publication.
Rebecca was also a contributor to “A Practical Guide to Pediatric Emergency Medicine,” edited by N. Ewen Amieva-Wang, Stanford University School of Medicine. The guide is for emergency department physicians who care for adults and children. It provides information needed to diagnose and treat a wide variety of common and uncommon pediatric disorders.
